      <image:caption>Dr John Roe is a fellowship trained knee surgeon based in the Wesley Orthopaedic &amp; Sports Injury Clinic at The Wesley Hospital in Brisbane, Australia. As a former professional rugby player, playing at the international level, Dr Roe developed a keen interest in sports injury at the knee, lower limb trauma and the management of hip and knee arthritis. His fellowship allowed him to focus on all aspects of knee surgery including sports injury, meniscal repair, meniscal transplantation, primary and revision knee replacement and traumatic knee injury including fractures. In his private practice he operates at The Wesley Hospital in Auchenflower in Brisbane while he maintains public appointments at the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital and STARS. Dr Roe also does a monthly clinic in Stanthorpe and Warwick for his rurally based patients. Along with many ongoing research interests, Dr Roe is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland Medical School. He is also the Director of Orthopaedic Training at the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital. Dr Roe was educated at the University of Queensland, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1997.  He went on to medical school, also at the University of Queensland and completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2006. He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy from the Queensland University of Technology in 2012 for his work on the mechanical characteristics of a cemented hip replacement system. His orthopaedic training was completed throughout many centres in Queensland, including multiple years in the main tertiary referral centres of the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.  He received his Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2018 and was accepted as a Fellow of the Australia Orthopaedic Association in the same year. He completed the prestigious BOSMC Orthopaedic Fellowship focusing on sports orthopaedics and knee surgery under the mentorship of Dr Peter Myers. During his time at Medical School, Dr Roe juggled a professional rugby union career with his university studies. During this period he played at the highest level representing the Australian Wallabies and the Queensland Reds, the latter of which he captained for four seasons in career that lasted ten years. He also represented the Australian 7's team and Australian Universities.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Special interests: Lower Limb Surgery and Arthroscopy Hip and Knee replacement including Revision Operating locations: Wesley Hospital St Vincent’s Northside Hospital Dr Rohan Brunello is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with special interest in hip and knee arthroplasty, lower limb surgery/arthroscopy and trauma.  He has a particular focus on Enhanced Recovery Programs in lower limb joint replacement and muscle sparing/minimally invasive hip surgery. Dr Brunello has adopted the Direct Superior Approach for Total Hip Replacement in 2016 and now trains and mentors surgeons for this approach in Asia-Pacific. Dr Brunello underwent 12 months sub-specialty Training in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty, Pelvic/Acetabular Trauma and Reconstruction at St Georges Hospital, London 2011. During his Fellowship, Dr Brunello worked under leading UK arthroplasty surgeons, Mr Simon Bridle and Mr Phillip Mitchell. He gained wide exposure and experience in all aspects of hip and knee arthroplasty, with a special focus on complex primary joint replacement, revision hip and knee replacement and the treatment of infected joint replacements. He subsequently went on to work in one of the UK’s busiest pelvic and acetabular trauma unit under leading authority, Mr Martin Bircher and Mr Mark Rickman. He has a Bachelor of Medicine &amp; Surgery (with honours) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement Studies) from the University of Queensland. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedics) and Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Dr Brunello commenced practice at the Wesley Orthopaedic and Sports Injury Clinic in 2012. He is also a Visiting Specialist in Orthopaedics at Prince Charles Hospital and the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. He is a Senior Lecturer at The University of Queensland’s School of Medicine.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dr Paul Pincus is an Orthopaedic surgeon who specialises in general orthopaedics, joint replacement and paediatric orthopaedics with a particular interest in limb reconstruction and leg lengthening. He holds a bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), FA Ortho. Dr Pincus completed advanced surgical training at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and Princess Margaret Rose Orthopaedic Hospital, Edinburgh. Dr Pincus also completed a Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics at Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children, Dublin and was a consultant at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, Hertfordshire, England. On his return to Australia Dr Pincus was Deputy Director of Orthopaedics at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at both the Royal Childrens’ Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital. In 1997 Dr Pincus commenced in private practice at the Wesley Hospital. Along with his private practice at The Wesley, Dr Pincus is still currently a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal Brisbane Hospital.</image:caption>
